Monthly Season Update: February 2025-26

With February in the books, there’s less than a month of conference play left in the season, so the next update will be after the national tournament and will be the big one with the individual posts for each referee and school.

Some notes of interest this month:

  • Dmitrii Antipin made his first appearance of the season, working the Merrimack-Vermont game on the 28th.
  • We had a new penalty minute high score for conference games this season in the Northeastern-UML game on the 21st with 88 combined penalty minutes, trailing only the opening weekend Holy Cross-Northeastern game back on October 4th that had 96.
  • The weekend of Feb. 20-21 also topped last month’s weekend of Jan. 14-16 for most major/misconduct/DQ penalties in a weekend with ten, eight on the 21st alone.
  • Northeastern also had an interesting situation on the 28th, with the only penalty they took during their game against Maine being a Major+Game Misconduct in the first period.
